DKC Round 2 Belleben

An unlucky race weekend overall, despite showing strong pace and a lot of determination throughout the event. After working hard with my team to find the right setup and improve the kart step by step, I managed to qualify in P6 and got off to a great start. I felt confident heading into the races and knew we had the speed to fight for strong results.

Unfortunately, an incident that was completely out of my control in Heat 1 dropped me back to P11, putting me in a difficult position for the rest of the weekend. However, I didn’t give up and continued to push hard, fighting my way back through the field with consistent pace and strong racecraft. In the final, I was able to recover to P6 and showed that we had the speed to match the top three drivers.

Although the performance and pace were promising, the setbacks earlier in the weekend meant that the final result was only enough for 10th overall. It was a frustrating outcome considering the potential we showed, but we take away many positives from the weekend and valuable lessons for the races ahead. Heading into the next round, I remain focused and motivated to keep improving and fight for stronger results, currently sitting 7th in the championship standings.
